LouFest is a grassroots, 2-day sustainable music festival in St Louis? Forest Park. It will feature 18 national and local bands from a range of genres including rock, pop, folk, bluegrass, and alt country. Main acts include Broken Social Scene, She & Him, Built to Spill, Jeff Tweedy, and more.

This all-ages event features 2 stages running back to back, food and drinks from local restaurants, a Kids Village for kids (and kids at heart), and an EcoZone to promote recycling, conservation and clean energy.

Reducing Waste

LouFest is dedicated to ensuring that this 2-day festival leaves little to no carbon footprint. Recycling stations and the use of recycled materials by festival vendors and concessionaries is being heavily utilized. To reduce plastic water bottle waste, the festival plans to offer a refillable water program. Festival-goers can purchase a reusable stainless steel water bottle and receive free refills of spring water all weekend. Or they can bring a water bottle from home and purchase refills for only $1.

Recycling

LouFest will coordinate with local organizations to provide compostable products to our vendors and concessionaires. Our goal is to recycle or compost everything the festival generates.

Reducing Emissions

Ride the Metro. Hop on your bike. Carpool. Run. Walk. Think eco-friendly and leave your car at home. LouFest plans to partner with local organizations to provide complimentary valet bike parking just outside the festival grounds.

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
AmerenUE Pure Power and 3Degrees are providing offsets for 100% of the festival?s electrical usage and all band and audience travel.
