The St. Louis Blues recognize the importance of preserving the environment. Along with their sponsors, Laclede Gas and Monsanto, the Blues have launched an eco-friendly initiative called the "Green Team," an effort designed to educate the public through Blues hockey about living a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.

"The preservation of our resources is something that everyone can play a role in," said Peter McLoughlin, CEO of St. Louis Blues Enterprises. "The Blues organization, along with our partners Laclede Gas and Monsanto, have a responsibility to our community in that regard. It's our hope that fans will become inspired by our own eco-friendly efforts and start incorporating simple conservation changes into their everyday routine."
