St. Patrick Center
St. Patrick Center is the largest provider of homeless services in Missouri, with 28 housing, employment and mental health programs assisting more than 9.000 persons annually who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The agency helps individuals and families move from homelessness to independence in a measurable, cost-effective manner.
In support of its mission, St. Patrick Center provides training and employment supports by partnering with local training providers to assist clients in obtaining marketable skills in the existing and emerging green industries of sustainable agriculture/land management, weatherization, composting, green cleaning, waste reduction and recycling.
St. Patrick Center also contributes to the local green economy by assisting mission-sensitive start-up or emerging small businesses through the BEGIN New Venture Center (BNVC) small business incubator. The BNVC assists business ventures in various stages of start-up development, including emerging green industry companies. Incubator companies contribute to positive community outcomes consistent with business success.
